The Shaker stove/fireplace is currently being in Denmark having been introduced as an amazing work designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio alongside fellow colleague Toan Nguyen. It has a minimalistic design that is perfectly balanced between rustic and contemporary.

Shaker is also available in two versions: the standard model Shaker short bench and the extra-long version Shaker long bench. Regardless of the model you choose, both of them allow for a choice of either a left or right side loading door and a top or back vent. Antonio Citterio’s model is yet another example of a unique fireplace design that just shows how varied these products are becoming even in its visual factors.

Another interesting detail about this fireplace? The product made by Antonio Citterio has won prizes such as the prestigious red dot design, the Chicago Museum of Architecture Good Design awards in 2006, and it was even the grand winner of Builder News 2010’s Best Products.
Antonio Citterio is a prestige designer who started his career in Milan and alike his personal hero, Gio Ponti, his Academic and Professional life as an Architect. From 1987 to 1996, he worked with Terry Dwan in several amazing buildings in Europe and Japan. After many years spent designing buildings, he eventually became a prominent Furniture and Industrial Designer, having helped shape the style of some of the Top Italian Brands of Today, namely Vitra, B&B Italia, Flexform, Flos, Hermès, Kartell, among many more!
