“Modern contemporary” is, for us, the correct word we would use to define P&T Interiors style. The cosmopolitan look they add to all their projects definitely makes them stand out from the ideas that other USA interior designers have had. It’s a perfect combo of classic and modern with a series of unique styles in between. We’ve definitely spotted this touch of theirs while examining the fireplace designs we’ve spotted in their projects. Sit back, relax and join us into this analysis.
In this first example, we turn to a more classical vibe with a fireplace mantle that definitely transmits the Art Deco vibe. This effect is enhanced by the furniture in the room (mainly the chairs, side tables, and accessories), and also the tile style that dominates the wall where the fireplace is.
Our second example once again uses that very same tile to enhance the fireplace giving a special touch with the more classical styled furniture. This almost feels like a room very inspired by a Scandinavian type decor with classical elements in the mix.

Next, we turn to a more modern example of this apartment’s living room. Everything in this project has a more contemporary feel to it, including the fireplace mantle, once again being reflective of a trend in modern design.
Last but not least we have another project that finds a middle ground between classical and contemporary. With bright and soft colors and some furniture lightly tapping on the Mid-Century style, the display of the furniture is oriented by the presence of a modern fireplace in this unique bedroom.
