Let's check out some fireplaces made by David Collins Studio

When it comes to fireplace design we’ve noticed that marble seems to be one of the favorite materials of the studio in their works. They definitely have the gift of making a fireplace look instantly modern or refined, seen as the marble revesting the fireplace is not only carefully chosen but also extremely well treated.

Another little touch that we’ve noticed that David Collins Studio likes to apply in many of their projects is to combine marble with some interesting color picks. Be it deep blue or light green it’s a lovely touch to an elegant material.

This was a project done within a hotel and probably the first thing we tend to notice are the tall paneled walls which are painted with a fragrant, soft and gently faded green. The fireplace that was picked for this particular scenario above may be minimalistic, but it perfectly matches the rest of the ambiance felt all around the room. Not to mention the fact that the huge mirror above the fireplace reflects an entirely different scenario and enhances the mantle. A good and pleasant choice by David Collins Studio.

Lastly, we have this project that David Collins Studio has done in a private apartment in Bangkok. The whole style of the home has a sense of a migrated old-European sophistication that comes into a perfectly accomplished harmony with the fragrant charm of an early Bangkok. The room depicted above is modern and minimalistic, something also reflected in the fireplace mantel that is more compressed yet still noticeable.
