Anderson Design Studio has got to be one of the best companies in the USA when it comes to naming some top names in this country’s interior design industry. This company is mostly known for having a unique capacity of adding a vintage and unique touch to each of its interior design projects. With that in mind, we’ve selected three of this group’s particular projects and today we’re looking into their style and the fireplaces that give the special touch to the decor.

Founded by Kathy Anderson in 1988, Anderson Design Studio is currently located in Nashville and it became a good reference in regards to its quality and timing in delivering the highest quality professional service while simultaneously meeting the client’s desired and needs in regards to elements present in the conception of any interior design project: style, budget, time, and functionality.

Anderson Design Studio is the resulting culmination of Kathy Anderson’s years within several architectural firms. Their main specialization is definitely the retro interior design, which gives a special touch to their projects. We’ve taken a peek at their projects and we’ve picked three projects that will definitely inspire you during the following paragraphs.
Durham Farms | Hendersonville
Durham Farms is a lovely home that aside from being quite spacious, also has the amazing vintage touch that Anderson Design Studio is known for. There are slight touches of modernity here and there and we’ve immediately spotted one with a linear fireplace. It’s perfectly well set within the stone chimney mixing in the sense of traditional stone fireplaces with the modern design concepts.
It also has the advantage of being a two-sided fireplace that allows the owners and guests to enjoy the flames on the inside and outside of the household. With this interior design project, we can definitely say that Anderson Design Studio really managed to shine out their talent for mixing in modern with traditional.
Annandale Residence
Within this one, we’ve found not one, not two, but three fireplaces in different rooms. The first one has a very clean design with a slightly curved white mantle that successfully creates a pleasant contrast from the wooden tones that dominate this room designed by Anderson Design Studio.
On the second fireplace it’s not exactly a contrast, but a complement to other white elements present in the room decor. The white fireplace manages to create a kind of balance with the neutral and earthy tones of the room decor that also has some red elements in the right quantity.
The third example of this same interior design project by Anderson Design Studio, this time presents us with a more carefully crafted brown fireplace mantle in a room that feels dominated by cold colours. A fresh sight for a Summer or Spring Season, but during the colder times, the fireplace will definitely become more of a centrepiece.

Stempel Residence
Last, but not least we have the Stempel Residence that definitely has the best decoration setting both around the area and around the fireplace. All of the elements placed above the mantle combine in perfection and the decor of this area as a whole can be best defined as a vintage way of welcoming Springtime due to the soft shades that compose the room.
