Contemporary fireplaces can still make an important element within a room regardless of the season we’re at. With that in mind, FOOGO has selected a couple of good examples of luxury living rooms that have some amazing fireplaces to match the decor. Join us into part 1 of this upcoming series of articles and be amazed at the influence that a fireplace can have in a living room.

This is a good example of a luxury home that mixes in a series of classical and contemporary/eclectic elements into the home decor. The fireplace is adequately in the centre of the room, adorned with some interesting stone columns at the sides of the fireplace giving it that touch of luxury that defines many concepts in contemporary fireplaces.

This time we show a patio fireplace, which as we’ve been mentioning throughout most of our articles is becoming a relevant fireplace trend, showing that many people don’t really regard this element as belonging solely in a living room. In the image, we see a stone scenario that perfectly reminds people of the sunny summer nights that await them in these upcoming months.

Grey may be a colour often associated with depression, but it definitely works in giving a chic touch to more than one luxury environment. On the left, we have the imponent stone fireplace that, despite the marks left by the ageing of the mantel, still maintains an amazing display.

Once again we have a stone fireplace as an example of a category that really stands out in contemporary fireplaces. In the rest of the room, the decoration feels more juvenile and optimistic, with a more white and neutral colour palette making the scene feel cosy and somewhat vintage at the same time.

Next, we have an amazing linear fireplace, which is a trend that is defining what many designers think of when it comes to their preferences for contemporary fireplaces. Visually appealing and convenient, these products will certainly give another timeless touch to both the concept of fireplaces as we know them as well as to any luxury living room with the capacity to install such an element.

The decor of this living room feels effectively warm, and it’s not only due to the stone fireplace once again being the centrepiece. The yellow and brown colours present in every element of the room, from the furniture to the flooring and walls give this Spring feel to the division completed by some floral elements in the pillows and curtains, as well as by the presence of plants in more than one corner.

Lastly, we come to a more minimalistic luxury living room decor which has the advantage of having the amazing stone fireplace dominating the whole scenario. This example aside from having some amazing carving and details also has the advantage of feeling extremely well preserved. Who said that contemporary fireplaces can’t have a touch of history to them?
