Studiopepe first came to be in 2006. The Milanese studio was founded by the design duo Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, both graduates from the Politecnico de Milano. They have been known for their incredible visionary and multidisciplinary approach to interior design, styling, set design, style consultancy, and trend forecasting. FOOGO blog invites you to know a little more about this Italian furniture brand.

Arianna Lelli Mami has graduated in Interior Design and Chiara Di Pinto in Industrial Design. Both of them attended the Politecnico di Milano and had a common passion for the world of design and its many areas. While Arianna was more fascinated by the ways people live and inhabit space, Chiara had a strong interest in materials, shapes, and colours, heavily influenced by her career as a stylist. With these distinct, yet common features, it’s no wonder they would end up crossing paths and becoming partners in this project.

Since its appearance, this brand has dedicated itself to the creation of fine furniture, objects, interiors and most recently, pieces of clothing. The works of the two founders have been featured in many articles during the past year, mainly their projects and iconographic shoot concepts that they made for several major international magazines.

The brand is mostly known for being very careful in their projects, developing a made-to-measure approach based on observation, analysis, and intuition. They take into account a series of details for the clients, among them, developing the image to advising on the concept and catalogue style, as well as handling the design of several elements such as showrooms, site-specific installations, and even the presentation of design events.

“Our philosophy is based on a conceptual approach inspired by the unexpected, and on an extensive iconographic and visionary background, generating results that are unique of their kind. Our attention to details, and the emotion they can generate in people is fundamental in our projects.” – Studiopepe’s homepage
Studiopepe provides services in Creative Consultancy, Retail Interior Design, Exhibition Set-up and Private Interior Design. Among their top clients, we can point to top names such as Agape, Alessi, B&B Italia, Cassina, Fendi Casa, Spotti Milano, among many more.

Probably one of 2019’s highest points for Studiopepe was the Les Arcanistes installation during Milan Design Week. In this installation, they’ve explored in-depth the relationship between matter and the archetypal power of symbols. In this very same area, there were many bespoke products and re-editions on display. The connection between matter and the power of symbols was the main focus through which they’ve created these incredible and mystical spaces which have enchanted many people throughout Milan Design Week 2019.

Another one of the big highlights of Studiopepe was their work on one floor of the Amsterdam homeware store Co van der Horst. This project unveiled in late March of 2018 had as its main feature a 30-foot-long wall clad with different-coloured marbles. These marbles were arranged in geometric patterns which interlock with each other.

There was also the ceramic collection for Ceramica Bardell that Studiopepe conceived alongside Dimore Studio. While the duo of women handled the Palladiana collection, Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran conceded the Correspondenza collection. Both groups created unique patterns from unique materials.
